Highlight: Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day
Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day is a day to honour and remember those who have lost their lives, families, homes, culture, and language as a result of the ongoing genocide. It is also a day to recognize the resilience of survivors and show support.
The Rohingya are a stateless predominately Muslim ethnic minority group from Rakhine State, Myanmar who speak their Indo-Aryan language. The Rohingya people have faced severe limits on freedom of movement, marriage, education and jobs.
